Bahran Chubin Strait of Darreh Shahr

It is one of the important narrow, high and strategic straits in the west of Darreh Shahr- Pol Dokhtar Road.
It is also known as Bahram Hunting Ground. A castle in the strait belonged to the Sasanid Empire is located. The castle was made from stone and plaster and extended to Kabirkuh forest in the deepest parts of the strait which is difficult to pass.
Besides the incredible beauty of the scene, stoned stairs on rocky walls, there are four reservoirs. They were carved in hard rocks and are 3×3 meter long with 3 meters depth, and 2×3 meter with 2/5 meter depth.
The four reservoirs are connected to each other and it is estimated that this place was one of the strategic districts of its own time and is also visited by mountain climbers and nature lovers. Spring is when most visitors have been attracted to such an awesome place.
