Dehloran County

This city is located in south and southwest of Dinarkuh Hill and was known as Dehloran from ancient time.
The ancient and old things have been found there indicate that the antiquity of this district relates to prehistory especially the Sasanian Empire. Remains of historical cities and hills indicate the county old history.
Dehloran geographical position makes it an important city. Its position also causes lots of damage through history. Its importance is kept through further eras. The city destroyed a lot through the Iran Iraq War. The city was renovated after the war and was considered as an important tourist city.
Besides its tourist attraction has grand petroleum resources and agricultural fields which doubled its economic and geographical importance.

Ab Darreh Jeke River of Dehloran

This river originated from Kabir Kuh southern Mounts which is located 3 kilometers far from west of Imamzadeh Shah Ahmad and 65 kilometers far from northeast of Dehloran. After passing west valley of the mount, 65 kilometers far from east of Dehloran joins Karkheh River. This river is 25 kilometers long and 1200 meter high.

Ab Sarkadeh River of Dehloran

This river originated from south of Kabirkuh, which is located 42 kilometers far from north of Dehloran in the west of Tang Sheikhan. First, it joins Ab Anjireh River then passes a valley in Sahand Mount in west and Dal and Dinarud in the east, then join some tributary and Ab Sivan River and pour to Meymod 25 kilometer far from northwest of Dehloran. This river is 25 kilometers long and the height of its source is 1600 meter.

This river is located 4 kilometers far from northwest of Murmuri Village, and originated 38 kilometers far from northeast of Dehloran. After passing Murmuri Village, enters a valley in Dalpari Mount and pours in Chikhab River 38 kilometer far from southeast of Dehloran. The river is 25 kilometers long and the height of its source is 550 meter.

Chay Qareh Tappeh River of Dehloran

This river is made by Gardeh Bishe River and Se Galan confluence 30 kilometers far from northwest of Dehloran. it joins three tributaries 37 kilometers far from west of Dehloran to Iran border. The river is 15 kilometers long.

Galan Chineh River of Dehloran

This river originated from Kabirkuh Hills in Chineh District, 55 kilometers far from northwest of Dehloran. After joining northern tributary of the eastern part of Kuler Narmeh, it joins Mal Hazeri River and makes Varazan River. The river is 13 km long and its source is 2050 meter high.

This river originated from Anaran Mount, 42 kilometers far from northwest of Dehloran. After passing a valley between Barak Koruyab and Barikab, 49 kilometers far from northwest of Dehloran enters Iraq Country. This river is 25 kilometers long before enters Iraq borders and height of its source is 1100 meter.

Dinar Mount of Dehloran

Dinar Mount is located 25 km far from north of Dehloran. It is 1955 meter high. This mount extended from north to south in a bow shape and then to northwest. Abdanan is also located in its east part. Dahbaneh, Absiol, Abkhazineh, Abkhazineh, and Ab Golgol originate from this mount. This mount connected to Siyahkuh from its southeast and Dal Mount in its northwest.

Khofash (=bat) Cave of Dehloran

Khofash (=bat) Cave of Dehloran

This cave is located three kilometers far from northeast of Dehloran City, on a hill near a valley and hot springs of Dehloran. Its name derived from the big bats lived there. This cave has grand galleries which some of them are 400 meters deep.
Khofash Cave of Dehloran is one of the historic caves of old times which now become a living place for bats.
There are lots of bats waste on the cave floor which were shaped during thousands of years and is used by farmers for their fields. This cave has been registered in Iran National Heritage list and is protected by related organizations.
