Folkloric Songs of Bushehr Province

Bushehr songs are interesting. These songs were sung by rural singers previously but they are sung mostly in wedding ceremonies now.
Sharveh
Sharveh or traditional couplet was sung mostly in plain districts, Tangestan and Dashtestan. It is also called Hajiani, or Shanbei. This song began by a preface from Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi. This tradition still exists in Dashtestan. Its verses belonged to two rural singers; Zayer Mohammad Ali also known as Fayez Dashtestani, who lived in Kurdovan and probably died in 1290, and Seyyed Barmaniar known as Maftun who lived in plain.
