Chay Qareh Tappeh River of Dehloran

This river is made by Gardeh Bishe River and Se Galan confluence 30 kilometers far from northwest of Dehloran. it joins three tributaries 37 kilometers far from west of Dehloran to Iran border. The river is 15 kilometers long.

Springs are water resources of Ilam Province. According to Jihad of Construction researches, some villages use constant spring water and some don’t. There are more springs in Mountainous districts than plains. The springs are also used for agricultural fields watering. Some springs are guided to gardens fields if has a great amount of water.
Some springs which are far from villages have been watered the pastures and agricultural fields by canals which are called Galal.

Tikhan (Tiqan) Hill of Dare Shahr

This hill is located in the northeast of DareShahr, 2 km far from the right side of Simereh River and in the Jamshidabad Village’s farms.
It is estimated that this hill was a four-floor structure once. In its first floor, some brick potteries, flint and triangle green stones had been found.

This province was center of miniature handicraft producer from old times.

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is one of the historical mosques of Isfahan which belonged to the Safavid Dynasty.
This structure is a great example of 11th Century AH architecture and tile work done by Mohammad Reza Isfahahani, well-known architect of Iran.
Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque was built by Shah Abbas I command during eighteen years. It is located in the east of Naqsh-e Jahan Square and opposite of Ālī Qāpū Palace beside Old Masque.
Inside and outside of the structure has one of the great domes of the world which is full of tile work. Natural light and beautiful colors which are used in this structure make it a prominent structure among its own kind.
This building was built for Sheikh Lotfollah and attract so many visitors and tourists each year.

Sarban minaret

Sarban minaret

Sarban minaret is located in the north of Jubare of Toqchi District. Its height is about 54meter. It is one of the most beautiful Minarets of Seljuq Dynasty. It was made of bricks and tiles in 6th Centuries AH.
The first part of the Minaret is made of simple brick, the second and third parts are made of great brick.
The fourth part is the first Minaret top made of Mogharnas bricks and turquoise tiles.
The fifth part of Minaret is made of bricks. The sixth part is the second Minaret top and the seventh part is the tip of Minaret.
There are two beautiful inscriptions at its two tops made from the best turquoise tiles.

Seven Towers of Kharun

Seven Towers of Kharun

Arg-e Sheikh Bahai or Seven Towers of Kharun is located in Najaf Abad in the west of Isfahan which is the biggest resorting place in the west of the Province.
This district is surrounded by a 3000-meter garden and has 7 towers, 6 of which are pigeon loft.
The height of each tower is about 14 meter. By changing the Arg area to historical and resorting place, some other structures like a fountain, traditional tea house and some other attractions like cultural resorting places had been added to the area.
Seven Towers of Kharun was built for agricultural purposes and composting manure in the past.
It is located in the southeast of Najaf Abad, Juy Kharun Alley, Baharestan.

Its height is about 35 meter and there are some resort places for visitors pleasure.

Mesr-e Jandaq desert of Isfahan

Mesr village is located 45 km far from east of Jandaq County and 30 km far from north of Khur County in Isfahan Province.
Amir Abad is located 2 km far from Mesr village and has lots of sand dunes, Tamarisks, and palms which make such an incredible view.
Farahzad village is in the north of Mesr village and full of beautiful palms covered by shifting sands. This village is considered one of the important places in the ecotourism industry. This place is well known between ecotourists.
Its other tourist attractions are Chal-e Salkonun, Mesr canebrake, Salkonun Salt Lake, Takht Abasi, Takht Arus.

East Azerbaijan Dams

East Azerbaijan has embankment dams for controlling a flow of water which make a good situation for migrant birds. It adds credit to Biologic aspects of the district. Here are some of these dams;
Molla Yaqub Embankment Dam
This dam is located 19 km far from southeast of Sarab and its height is about 1700 meter. It is the living place of different kinds of ducks.
Khorram Daraq Embankment Dam
This dam is located 7km far from Aqaj Valley in Hashtrud. Its height is 1850 meter. This dam is living place of coots, Eurasian Teal, Northern pintail, Common shelduck, Grebe, Sandpiper, Ivory gulls and other kinds of birds.
Minaq Embankment Dam
It is located in the northwest of Haris. Its height is about 1600meter. It is living place of different kinds of ducks.
Alavian Embankment Dam
This dam is located 3, 5 km far from north of Maraqeh in a high area near Maraqeh and green Alavian Valley. It has the capacity of resort exploitation.
Sahand Mount is one of its eye-catching scenery. From May till the end of fall is the best time to visit such a lovely place.
Other Dams
Nahand, Satarkhan, Aido Qamoosh, and Kandovan are the other dams of East Azerbaijan.
