Chaharbagh School

Chaharbagh School, Shah School or Mother Shah School is the last historical structure of Safavid Dynasty, Shah Sultan Hossein, which was built for students of religious study in 1116-1126 AH.
According to its architecture and tile works, the school got the second position after Sheikh Lotfollah Masque. But some professors believed that the silver and gold works, the design, the carving, and other artistic work had been done in this mosque is unique and has no equal.
This school is now named Alimeh Imam Sadeq and used for religious studies.

Eishabad Waterfall in Shabestar

Eishabad Waterfall in Shabestar

The height of this waterfall reaches 15 meters. It is located in the west of Misho, in its mountainous part, near Eyshabad village in Shabestar. The whole road is mountainous except one part which is carriageway. The area around the Waterfall is about 300 square meter. Its position near mountains and valleys make such a wonderful landscape.

Quyun Daqi Island (Kaboodan) in Azerbaijan

Quyun Daqi Island of Azerbaijan

It is one of the biggest and the most beautiful unsettled Islands in Urmia Lake. It is located 12 km far from Rahmanloo Port in the southeast of Urmia Lake. The Island’s length is 90 km, its width is 4 km, its height is 1521 meter and its whole area is 3175 Hectare.

Ovis Orientalis, Armenian mouflon, Persian fallow deer (rare deer spacious) can be found there. This Island is the only Island in Urmia Lake which has fresh water during the year. Wild animals drink from the two southern springs of the Island.
Each side of Island has its own beautiful view. The existence of Golden Eagle and Egyptian vulture make it a different place.

The other birds of Island are Yellow-rumped marsh bird, Eurasian golden oriole, Roller, Ivory gulls, Eurasian hoopoe, waterfowls like Flamingos, Ruddy Shelduck and other kinds of birds.
Flamingos choose the northwest corner of the Island, between Quyun Daqi, Arezoo and Ispir Islands, for settling because it is actually a quiet place. Their main food is different kinds of Algoe and Crustaceans from Artmiasalina River. Ovis Orientalis and Armenian mouflon spacious of this district have been protected from 1340 till now and their population reaches 3500 nowadays.
Ovis Orientalis, Armenian mouflon, Persian fallow deer’s habitat in Kaboodan are; Qooch Dare si, Jen Daresi, Gole Daresi, Hassan Aqa Daresi, Zarza, Shekargah, Qaredaqe Bozorg, Qaredaqe Koochak.
This district had been registered in Enesco as one of 59 protected districts which contain rare spacious.

This Island is located in the west of Kaboodan and 27 km far from Golmankhane Port. Its area is about 1151 Hectare. Its height is about 1270 meter. it is the immigration destination of Flamingos, Pelicans, Silver Gulls, and Gooses. The Island facilities are just a small quay.

Qushadaq Mount of Azerbaijan

It is one of the most important and interesting mountain ranges of Arasbaran and is located in the north of Heris, west of Sabalan and southwest of Meshginshahr. Its highest mount is located in the north of Heris with 3149-meter height. Goyje bel, considered as one of the great natural phenomena, is located near Qushadaq mount in Tabriz-Ahar road. All of its heights are full of green pastures which are being enjoyed by Arasbaran and Moqan’s tribes during the summer.

Sis village of Azerbaijan

This village is located 14 km far from Shabestar, in the way of Soofian to Shabestar. Here are some monuments of this village;
Qizil Dash: It is a pink-red limestone tombstone in shape of a case which is located in the west hills of Sis. Top of this tombstone is two floored and its margin is carved by ornamental Kufi words. Moreover, there are other ornaments and writings all around the case in a geometric shape which is a great sample of stone carving art.
Pir Rajab Grave: this structure is located upper than Qizil Dash. The grave is in a room and has two wooden pillars in which the room is rested. People say their prayers and do their ritual practices in special religious days.
Sheikh Ismail Grave; Sheikh Ismail is one of the 7th and 8th AH Centuries great mystics. His grave is in the middle of Cemetery in Sis village. This grave and two black rocks, which was one of the huge rocks once, is located under an old and destroyed dome. There is a stoned rams statue near the Sheikh’s grave which is important to people lived there and is considered holy.
Hanife Mohammad Masque: this mosque is located in the center of the village and is considered as Jameh Masque. Its structure has a dome and is made of bricks. There is a hall with wooden pillars in front of that. According to what inhabitants declared, this building was built by Hanife Muhammad and was destroyed frequently and repaired again. Its architectural design is like other Safavi buildings.
Bale Hassan Cemetery: This cemetery is located beside village masque which its ceiling and walls had been destroyed. There are two written black and broken rocks in the southern part of the cemetery which has been faded nowadays. There is a big tombstone near the stoned rams statue in the southern part of masque square which belonged to Sheikhs’ cemetery once. Bale Hassan was one of the Sheikh Shahabodin Ahari’s followers.
