Jam Namasht Bridge of Dare Shahr

This bridge is located in Seimare River, 4 km far from north of Darreh Shahr, in front of Cham Kalan Village. Its structure materials are rubbles and mortar. Presently, its external bases breakwaters remain. Some of IIam castles
– Hezarani Historica Castle belonged to Sasanian Empire and is located in Hezarani Village of Abdanan County. Renovating the castle could be one of the important tourist attraction sites.
– Paqofleh Historical Castle
– Sasani Anjir Castle in Zarinabad
– Remains of the historical castle of Sasanid Dynasty in Kambakhsh Badreh of Darreh Shahr County.
– Remains of Posht Qale Castle in Abdanan County.
– The wall of Gamul Castle in Barikeh Village
– A castle made of stone and mortar and belonged to the Sasanid Dynasty is located in Mimeh of Zarinabad.
– Ismail Khan Castle in Sivan Mounts near Ilam City and Plain.
– Remains of prehistory buildings in Katan Gonbad of Saleh Abad.
– A carved wall which belonged to Parthian and Sasanian in Mimeh of Zarinabad.

Jam Namasht Bridge of Dare Shahr

This bridge is located in Seimare River, 4 km far from north of Darreh Shahr, in front of Cham Kalan Village. Its structure materials are rubbles and mortar. Presently, its external bases breakwaters remain. Its architectural quality, kinds of materials used and its design are similar to remains of Darreh Shahr which belonged to Sasanid. Eighteen springs ran when Jam Namasht Bridge was built. Its bases are fifteen km far from each other and its length is more than 270 meter.

Krudit Bridge (Pesar va Dokhtar) Bridge of Chardavol

This historical bridge which belonged to Sasanid Dynasty is located in Chambur Village of Chardavol. It was identified by Iran National Heritage Organization.

Sasanian Bridge of Darreh Shahr

This bridge is located in the south of Darreh Shahr and beginning of a strait which has the same name in the Kabir Mount Hill. Its structure has three arched springs which are 5/5 meter far from each other. Its two arches had been destroyed gradually, but it was renovated recently.

Gavmishan Bridge

Govmishan Bridge is built in Samera Riverway and Kashkan River confluence. Its structure belonged to the Sasanian Empire but its brick arches and stones indicate that they are renovated recently.
This bridge was renovated by Hassanqoli Khan Abuqadare, commander of Poshtkuh. Nowadays, the bridge is half destroyed.

Historical cities of Ilam Province

Remains of Darreh Shahr Historical City
Remains of Darreh Shahr City is located between Shahr Jadid and Bahman Abad village. Most of the western fields of the city are in its area. This city belonged to the Sasanian Dynasty and was built exactly by that period characteristics.
Presently, remains of arches, dome ceilings, alleys, crossings, an urban communication network is visible. The city belonged to Khosro Shah (Sasanid king) and his substitutes and may had about five thousand houses and twenty thousand individuals.

Mazin Historical City (Seimare)
Seimare City is located in front part of Majin Strait in Darreh Shahr County. Remains of the walls, palaces, and bazaars are visible. The walls were built from stone and plaster mortar. According to buildings, the material used in them, scattered potteries around and in the houses, it is estimated that the city belonged to the Sasanian Dynasty.
In the Strait, on the western part of the wall, a tunnel had been dug which extended from the second waterfall to the city. The tunnel is 700 meters long. It is built by stone and mortar in turns of the rocks and exit part of the strait.

Remains of Samera City
Remains of Samera is located beside Chamzangi, near Bardi Village of Dehloran. Belgium archeologists estimated its existence more than the history. There are different historical remains in the district which historical Sheyakh Castle is one of them.

Masbandan Historical City
This city belonged to the Sasanian Empire. It is located in Sarab Klan village of Shirvan.

Mehrjanqadaq Historical City
This city belonged to the Sasanian Empire. It is located in Darreh Shahr.
