Tangarav River of Ilam

This river originated from Shalam and Manasht Mounts 7 kilometers far from southeast of Ilam. After passing valleys between Lejan in north and Shalam in south enters Ilam, then enters Surgah and make so many waterfalls. After passing Cham ruined place called Jam Ab. After passing northern mounts of Samur, 2 kilometers far from southwest of Nandozeh Village joins Chovar River. This river is 25 kilometers long and its source is 1800 meter high.

Qelajeh Mount of Ilam

Qelajeh Mount of Ilam

Qelajeh Mount is located 41 kilometers far from northwest of Ilam. It is 2050 km high.
This Mount is extended from northwest to southeast and from southeast to Kalechaman Mount.
Asemanabad Village is located in southern part of the mount and crosses Kermanshah- Ilam Road. Abchika River originated from its northern part and Abaseman from its southern parts. Some parts of the mount are covered by Oak trees.

This castle is located in Amirabad Village near Mehran Salehabad Road. It is made of stone, brick, adobe, and mud. Remains of the castle is an area, 12square meter rooms, and basements. It is now half destroyed.

Gavmishan Bridge

Govmishan Bridge is built in Samera Riverway and Kashkan River confluence. Its structure belonged to the Sasanian Empire but its brick arches and stones indicate that they are renovated recently.
This bridge was renovated by Hassanqoli Khan Abuqadare, commander of Poshtkuh. Nowadays, the bridge is half destroyed.

Chehel Sotoun of Isfahan

Chehel Sotoun of Isfahan

Chehel Sotoun is one of the historical structures of Isfahan. Its area is about 67000 square meter and was built in Shah Abbas I Dynasty. There is a building in the middle of the structure.
This building and the garden contains the middle gallery of Chehel Sotoun and its four corner rooms. This structure has twenty pillars but their specular reflection on water popularize them as Chehel (=forty) Sotoun (= pillar).
There are lots of beautiful paintings on the ceiling and galleries.
There are also some eye-catching miniature paintings, mirror works, stucco works, Naskh calligraphy inscriptions on walls and ceiling.

Chehel Sotoun paintings

Chehel Sottoun Paintings present Iran architecture, design and decoration.
None of the paintings have signature or date except middle painting of the main gallery, Sadeq Naqqash Bashi as “Ya Sadeqalvad”, and a date,1216 AH, in Qajar Dynasty.
Chehel Sotoun is being divided into four categories according to its paintings, which are;
1. Historical scenes of the relationship between the Safavid Dynasty and its eastern neighbors in Baram Gallery.
2. Scenes of the ceremonies and hunting on the upper hallway of the gallery.
3. Scenes of royal ceremonies, in Ghazal and literature concepts, hanged on two side room shelves.
4. Scenes of foreigners in Safavid Crown on side columned galleries.

Marnan Bridge

Marnan Bridge is located in the western part of Isfahan and after Vahid Bridge. Its name derived from the village with the same name to which it connected.
This bridge was once named Marbin and Sarfaraz and was built in Safavid Dynasty and has seventeen springs.
Although the structure of the bridge has not changed through history, it was renovated several times.
The bridge is 160 meters long and has well equipped public places.
This building is near Najvan Park and Birds garden of Isfahan, so it is visited by many visitors each year.

Shahrestan Bridge in Isfahan

Shahrestan Bridge Ji Bridge or Jasar Hossein Bridge is the oldest bridge of Zayanderud which was located 4 km far from east of Isfahan beside International Exhibition but it is located in the town now.
It has been estimated that this bridge was built in the Sasanian Empire and renovated in Deylamian and Seljuq Period.
The bases of the bridge pillars are located on natural rocks of the River.
The bridge length, from brick pillar to end of old asphalt, is 105 meters, its width is 5 meter and has eleven springs and twelve big rocky pillars.
The top of the bridge is eroded and visitors just can walk on it.
This structure was registered in the National Heritage list of Iran (No 889) in 1/1/1969.

Lengan Spring of Fereydunshahr

Lengan Spring of Fereydunshahr

This spring is located in Cheshme Lengan Village in Sybak village and in Punehzar Spring.
It is located 17km far from southwest of Fereydunshahr. Its water bubbling up from big rocks which fulfilled the drinking water of Fereydunshahr and its villages by three pumps of 14km tubes.
This place and its surroundings are one of the best and the most beautiful places to visit.
